Here's how you do it: Put slices of brie between two slices of white bread. Dip it in your hot coffee with milk. Not bad! That was a first for me. Most mornings lately, almonds and dried figs have become my routine breakfast, supplemented with muesli and milk, washed down with black coffee. My companions will have none of any of that. Bring out the brie!
We were pleased to see that we had plenty of sunshine this morning! Here you can see Anne Marie and Marie Therese on the balcony outside our room. We are in "Yellow Pine" at Maswik Lodge, inside the Grand Canyon National Park.
To get to other places inside the park, we can take a free bus. It makes many stops and comes by every 10 minutes.
Our first view of the Grand Canyon was at Bright Angel.
Facing East in the morning, the rocks are all in shadow. The scene below will look quite different in the late afternoon!
Marie Therese and Anne Marie went off on their own, but I ran into them at Hopi Point. In the photo below, you can see the Colorado River way down at the bottom if you look very closely.
You can see the river in this one, too:
Marie: nous avons fait exploser nos appareils photo et meme , fait des videos ce sera la surprise!
